Postcards from Brittany

First stop Saint Malo .... found a great campsite overlooking the town, close to a small harbour and with some bars and cafes within a short walking distance. Cafe breakfast - croissants and coffee - overlooking the harbour and a petit castle is our idea of the best start to the day!!

Out came the e-bicycles again to explore Saint Malo - the walled city section that we focussed on

had a long history of piracy, earning much wealth from local extortion and overseas adventures. The walk around the ramparts and a visit to the cathedral with its superb stained glass were well worth it!

The city is surrounded by beaches and marinas - perfect for a sunny day!
